On behalf of the whole team at Taurus Security Group (trading as Monitored Guarding Limited), I would like to take this opportunity to thank Wychwood Park (Management) Limited for appointing us to provide our services to your community and to outline what you can expect from your dedicated security team. 

 

Since 27th of October 2021 we have been providing security provision 24 hours a day, Our highly experienced and dedicated officers hold SIA Licences and their role is to help ensure the health and safety of residents, visitors and employees at Wychwood Park. Recruitment is progressing to ensure we have a permanent workforce here who are familiar with The Park and the Residents become accustomed to.

 

A snap shot of our day-to-day responsibilities are:

 

  • Managing and controlling vehicles entering and exiting the site 

  • Welcoming visitors 

  • Monitoring CCTV cameras 24/7, seven days a week

  • Park patrols in the car at intervals throughout the day & night

  • Speed Checks

  • Ensuring non-resident walkers and joggers only use the public footpaths 

  • Liaising with the police and emergency services as representatives for the estate

  • Checking the park equipment including the defibrillators, life buoys and playground equipment are in place and working.

  • Enforcing the regulations provided by Wychwood Park (Management) Limited or Realty Management for the good management of the estate

  • Keeping daily records of activity 

  • Conducting monthly security audit reviews with Realty Management

 

Our security officers are easily identifiable in their uniform, they are wearing body cameras, and our electric patrol vehicle is clearly branded.

  • Be informed on Wychwood Park rules and regulations and follow them

  • Be a considerate neighbour

  • Watch your speed 

  • Park appropriately

  • Always keep dogs on a lead

  • Use the permitted walking routes and pathways

  • Ensure your visitors and tenants are aware of the rules

  • Endeavour to resolve neighbour disputes

Do's 

  • Be rude or threatening towards the security team

  • Allow visitors to bypass the existing security measures in place

  • Use security staff to settle neighbour disputes/complaints

  • Walk across the golf course

  • Behave in a way that would likely cause nuisance or offence to those around you

  • Willfully damage park furniture and planting

Entry & Exit Guidance to
Wychwood Park

ENTRY  ONLY

  • ​There are two lanes for Park access

  • The RIGHT lane is for RESIDENTS with a Security Pass

  • The LEFT lane is for Visitors & Deliveries without a Security Pass

VISITORS LANE

  • Stop fully in the designated area before the bollards

  • Security will check the reason for the visit

  • Once Security are satisfied, the bollard will retract  into the ground, the Visitor must only move forward when the traffic light to their Left is GREEN

  • Must take care at the roundabout to check traffic from the residents lane

RESIDENTS LANE

  • Have your Security Pass available

  • Stop fully in the designated area before the bollards

  • Scan the pass under the security sensor

  • The bollard should start to retract into the ground

  • Must only move forward once the traffic light to your Right is GREEN

  • Take care at the roundabout to check for traffic from the visitors lane

EXIT ONLY

  • There is one lane to Exit the Park

  • Stop fully in the designated area before the bollards

  • The bollards should start to retract into the ground

  • Must only move forward once the traffic light to your Right is GREEN and it is safe to proceed

The rationale for this approach is:

  • Residents can conveniently access the Park without delay

  • Guards can focus on managing visitors and maintain security

To allow this to work effectively can Residents ensure they have a Security Pass

available in their car when entering the Park.

Existing passes will work, however if you require additional or a new pass;

They will check eligibility, advise on the cost, accept payment and inform you where to collect
